The West Midlands is experiencing a spiral of social and economic decline including; youth violence, mental health, unemployment and the cost of living.
At First Class Foundation our vision is of a nation of young people and families free from the impact of crime and poor mental health, who are living purpose-filled lives.
We connect, mentor, and support the most marginalised black and ethnic minority young people and their families in the West Midlands.
To achieve our mission we have three core areas of focus:
– Reducing youth violence
– Improving mental health resilience
– Connecting young people to their purpose
Mentoring – 56 mentees in 2023
