Our First Class Foundation projects & programmes serve young people from across the city, helping them to get involved and make a difference around their areas of passion & purpose. First Class Foundation is founded on Values based leadership and principles that is implemented through all of our projects and programmes. We are First Class Foundation “Building a First Class Nation!”

Are you aged 11- 16 years old? Why don’t you come and link up with the #TeamFirstClassUK team to chill, and have fun doing meaningful and positive activities, such as dance, media projects, games, a music studio plus much more.

There will be spaces to chill, learn new skills and build relationships and of course there will be FREE FOOD & DRINKS!

Dear Youngers Programme

Our Dear Youngers mental health and resilience programme is a very innovative, therapeutic, solution-based programme, engaging, young African Caribbean males around wellbeing and mental health resilience and exploring adverse childhood experiences in a safe environment that is psychologically informed, culturally sensitive, delivered and facilitated by relatable role models.

This approach has been independently evaluated by the Centre for Mental Health and can be found in a report titled, Against the Odds.

The Purple Jackets

Our First Class Foundation Outreach and Engagement Team, are easily identifiable by their friendly faces and their bright purple jackets. Bringing peace to our streets, the team are a group of relatable role models who know and understand the communities they engage with – trained to the highest standard and taken through the relevant and necessary DBS checks to effectively carry out face-to-face street engagement. Our street team are culturally relevant and highly qualified to engage the local community. We bring a safe presence to our streets. 

The Black Jackets Project

Black Jackets ensure the youth and community are safe, working cooperatively with institutions to offer the next level of support to young people and families impacted by tragic and serious violent incidents that have happened in our city that can cause trauma and pain.
